Can you believe renowned Indian singer Anu Malik accused of sexual harassment not only by one?
Indian singer and music director Anu Malik has been alleged of sexual harassment by singer Sona Mohapatra. Renowned singer Anu Malik has been accused of misbehaviour by many women from the music industry and even from Shweta Pandit who had been traumatised by him from the misbehaviour he did to her when she was only fifteen years old. Sona tweeted, “Shweta Pandit told of her trauma of how you scarred her at a young age of fifteen! A kid. Danica D’Souza, Ex Indian Idol Producer told of how you harassed crew & contestants alike. Caralisa Monteiro spoke up too. Neha Bhasin spoke up a fortnight ago about her own story with you, she was only twenty one & many more who aren’t famous did too & in detail. Alisha Chinai too corroborated the pattern & spoke her truth. None of these women are connected or have anything to gain by speaking up about the predatory behavior of one powerful, rich, perverted person”
Anu Malik rejected all the allegations put on him, sona released long statement on Anu Malik’s denial using designer Kallol Datta’s notes about it. The singer replied in several different points opposing the defence done by Anu Malik.
Women’s safety is one of the biggest issues in India, fast and fair justice should be done on these cases.
